The Most Expensive Car In The World Circa 1995

It’s not often we get 3 cars traded in for one, even more uncommon for them to be as unique as the ones our valued customer Peter traded in. Feeling the need to downsize, he exchanged his 3 classic European vehicles for a modern Bentley.

Proud new owners!

Born in Hampstead England, Peter would often visit his grandparents near London close to the Bentley factory; this kindled his passion for cars. He remembers travelling down to London to peer into car dealerships and admire the hand-built vehicles. Originally an Aston Martin fan, Peter has owned many of the marque’s vehicles, including a 1959 DB 2/4 Mark III Fixed Head Coupé, 1 of 14 ever made. Currently a Bentley enthusiast, Peter is a member of the Rolls Royce Bentley Club and brings his Bentley out to participate in their events. When asked what his favourite car is, he answers “My current one, it has an incredible level of power and refinement.”

“Of the three I traded in, this one is my favorite” says Peter. “The elegant lines and incredible craftsmanship that went into this car really set it off. It was also my first Bentley so I have a bit of a soft spot for it” he continues. Who can blame him? Sporting a massive 6¾ liter turbocharged V8, this Bentley will propel you forward in refined, effortless luxury. Hand-stitched leather covers almost every surface of the bespoke interior. At it’s launch, this was the most expensive production car in the world, and the limited production of just 1236 examples mean this is a rare and exclusive vehicle.

This British racing green Bentley Arnage is something special. It is a Le Mans edition, 1 of 153 built to celebrate Bentley’s return to Le Mans racing after a 71 year hiatus. Under the hood is Bentley’s familiar 6¾ liter turbocharged V8 with over 600 lb/ft of torque, sufficient to make the Arnage the fastest production sedan of its time. The interior is crafted out of the finest Connolly leather and features a special Tan and British Racing Green colour scheme.

Peter came across this Maserati by accident while searching Craigslist for a Lexus, but when he saw it was equipped with the rare 6-speed manual gearbox, he just had to buy it. Powered a Ferrari designed V8 engine and equipped with a high-tech suspension system, this car is ready to carve down your favorite backroad. At the same time, the Italian design and hand-finished interior means you can cruise down the boulevard in comfort and style.
